Good Morning Tujunga!

Adrienne Bailon

This picture appeared in "Worst Dressed" article on OMG by yahoo. What's wrong with this bathing suit? Nothing. She's young & now is the time for her to look like this. Anything would look great on this girl!

Former Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon left little to the imagination in skimpy swimwear while filming her new reality show, "Empire Girls," in South Beach late last week. The 28-year-old's attention-seeking suit featured trash bag-like fabric, shoulder shields, and hip flaps. Bright orange lipstick, gold sunglasses, and matching door knocker earrings made for equally atrocious accessories. What do you make of the Disney alumna's style snafu? Heinous or hot? (4/26/2012)

OMG!!!!! I will just post some of the comments here cause I couldn't have said it better myself!

  •  I've been on the internet since it was invented. I've seen pretty much everything from train wrecks to animal porn. But I've NEVER, EVER seen anything this horrible. (2nd worst - the tanning lady).
  • If peewee herman had sex with a werewolf.....
  • it's the belt isn't it...that's the problem here. :)
  • a graying fourteen-year-old boy is off to his first rave; he grew up so fast!
  • He needs a weed wacker.
And the one truly disturbing one:
  • I just love him. I think I have a crush on the guy, but of course, I’m too old for him and he’s so cute that he’s probably gay…but I get him in my lucid dreaming.
    Look at that smile!!
He’s a tremendous actor too…and it looks all natural.
I would really not pay any attention to hairy legs when he would properly ravage me with something else what would surely have no hair growing on it!
And my Favorite One!
  • My eyes are bleeding!

Gardening is Good for You

The Dirt on Gardening
by Deborah Long
Posted: Apr 28, 2012

So you love to garden. (Dare we say, you dig it?) That’s good news because gardening is a great form of exercise, using multiple muscle groups and burning around 250 calories per hour. But it also can leave you with unwelcome aches and pains, especially if you have a condition like arthritis or a chronic injury.

We spoke to Paul Christo, M.D., a Baltimore-based anesthesiologist and host of a weekly radio talk show on pain relief, Aches and Gains, about what you can do to garden without the pain.

1) REMEMBER TO STRETCH. That goes for before and after you garden. “Skipping this step is the most common mistake patients make,” says Dr. Christo. Stretching gets the blood traveling through your limbs, minimizing stiffness and helping ensure you won’t pull a muscle.

2) CHANGE POSITIONS OFTEN. Changing position every 15 minutes or so ensures that you’re working a wide range of muscle groups, and also helps you avoid stiffness. [

3) TAKE FREQUENT BREAKS. Just like with stretching, people often bypass this step, but don’t. Pacing yourself keeps pain from building up. If you feel a twinge, take a quick break -- sip some water and do a little stretching -- every 20 minutes.

4) USE TOOLS WISELY. If you’re older, or have a condition such as arthritis, invest in some long-handled tools to make the work less of a strain. Remember, the goal is to keep your back perpendicular to the ground as much as possible, in order to minimize stress on the spine. If you’re kneeling, get a special pad to cushion your knees.

5) SOOTHE THE ACHES. If you overdo it in spite of your best efforts, take a warm bath with Epsom salts, or use an over-the-counter remedy to temper the pain. While anti-inflammatories can be helpful, Dr. Christo actually recommends his patients first try a topical agent, like Aspercreme, which allows you to target pain relief specifically where you need it and is easy on the stomach. Other gardeners swear by pain relieving ointments like Ben-Gay or Tiger Balm.

One more surprising benefit to gardening: “It’s a great brain work out,” says Dr. Christo. “Critical and creative thinking are both important in gardening, so the entire experience can benefit your brain, meaning it may actually help stave off diseases like Alzheimer’s.”

So get growing!

Goodnight all! Hot water is running in tub & I have the Epsom salts ready! Next, put my body in it!

OMG! Protest Day!

May Day protests planned today throughout L.A.; 'South Wind' caravan begins in Carson
DailyNews.com

LOS ANGELES - Thousands of workers, immigrant-rights activists and other protesters will take part in May Day marches and rallies today in support of causes ranging from better-paying jobs to immigration reform, triggering street closures in downtown Los Angeles.
Rallies are planned throughout the day at various locations, including one at Los Angeles International Airport in connection with a one-day strike by janitors and other workers at the facility, but downtown will be the main rallying point for protests by such groups as Occupy L.A., the Youth Justice Coalition and Rise Up L.A. Occupy L.A. planned a "May 1 Four Winds/General Strike" event involving four "caravans" converging on downtown L.A.
The South Wind caravan will start at Cal State Dominguez Hills in Carson, the West Wind at Wilshire Boulevard and Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica, the North Wind at Panorama High School in the San Fernando Valley, and the East Wind at Cesar Chavez and Atlantic Avenue in Monterey Park.
The South Wind caravan will be joined by a "feeder march" organized by Rise Up L.A. to protest the "Prison Industrial Complex" and commemorate "the beginning of the L.A Rebellion." It will start at Florence and Normandie, the flashpoint of the riots that devastated the city 20 years ago this week.
Around noon, protesters will gather at 41st Street and Central Avenue, then head to Figueroa Street and Exposition Boulevard before staging a 2:30 p.m. rally at Sixth and Main streets. A larger rally is planned at 7 p.m. at Pershing Square.
Supporters of the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles will take part in a May Day march for jobs, education and "peace in the world," with participants gathering at Olympic and Broadway at 1 p.m. and marching an hour later north on Broadway. A rally is planned for 3:30 p.m. at Broadway and First Street.
"We look forward to join students, unions, workers, families, people of faith, civil rights advocates, elected officials, business people and other allies to honor and celebrate the contributions of every worker in American," said CHIRLA Executive Director Angelica Salas.
Unionized service workers at Los Angeles International Airport are planning a one-day strike beginning at 3 a.m. They will start a march at noon from the Tom Bradley International Terminal, then along the north side of the terminal area and eventually to Century Boulevard and Avion Street.
Many of the same workers staged a protest at the airport in March against what they called safety shortcuts being taken by airline contractors working at the airport. Today's job action will occur amid heightened security resulting from the one-year anniversary of the death of Osama Bin Laden.
Airport police officials have said they were working with the labor unions to ensure today's protests do disrupt passenger traffic. Police, however, advised passengers, visitors and airport employees that traffic congestion and delays are possible during the rally.
Airport police said travelers should give themselves an extra 45 minutes to account for possible delays.
Motorists heading to LAX on westbound Century Boulevard will be diverted north on Airport Boulevard, then west on 96th Street to north Vicksburg Street and into the terminal area.
Commuters in the downtown area, also could find themselves dealing with traffic disruptions. According to the city's Emergency Management Department, the following streets are expected to be closed during the marches:
-- Broadway between 11th and Temple streets;
-- First Street between Hill and Broadway; and
-- Judge John Aiso between First and Temple streets.
Metro warned its customers that while it plans to offer regular service, a host of bus lines could be delayed or detoured. The bus lines subject to disruption are 2, 4, 10, 14, 16, 316, 18, 20, 28, 30, 33, 40, 42, 45, 51, 52, 53, 55, 60, 66, 70, 71, 76, 78, 79, 81, 83, 84, 68, 90, 91, 92, 94, 96, 439, 442, 460, 487, 489, 720, 728, 730, 733, 740, 745, 760, 794 and 910.

People do the Darnest Things! Drunk Grandparents Arrested

Drunk Grandparents Charged After Towing 7-Year-Old In Plastic Car

April 30, 2012 at 2:13 pm by

paul berloni 125x188 Drunk Grandparents Charged After Towing 7 Year Old In Plastic CarSarasota, FL – Paul Berloni, 49, was charged with DUI, driving with a suspended license, and child neglect/endangerment on Sunday for towing his 7-year-old granddaughter behind his SUV while he was drunk enough to decline a field sobriety test, but not drunk enough to agree to one.
The young girl, who was wearing only a bathing suit and no protective gear, was allegedly being towed in a plastic Hot Wheels car at between five and ten miles per hour. The toy was “secured” to the SUV with dog leashes tied to the trailer hitch.
Belinda Berloni, aside from having a name only a cartoon character should possess, was stupid enough to be going along with the whole thing, reportedly cheering her granddaughter on from an open rear door of the vehicle. She was also charged with child neglect/endangerment, and was reportedly crocked as well. Surprise! Surprise!

A deputy spotted the drunken idiocy and immediately put a stop to it, noting, upon speaking to Paul Berloni, that he smelled strongly of alcohol. Belinda, who was still not quite grasping how retarded the whole thing was, told the officer they were “just having fun and had been doing this all day.”
The child’s father (Belinda’s son) believes both suspects have drinking problems. Personally, I think he might have been better off leaving his child in the care of a couple of demented honey badgers. He was apparently very upset with the two, asking his mother, “Are you f—ing stupid? You should know better!”

I think we all know the answer to that question, dude. Then again, you’re the one who left the kid with them. It’s worth noting that Paul Berloni has not had a driver’s license for 10 years, since it was revoked following a DUI; not his first, I’d imagine.

The child was unharmed in the incident, but I think I know of a couple of Intervention candidates.
